Nomination Round | The Tailfeather Awards

Before you begin, please read the nomination rules below

Nomination rules

▪️ Each nominator gets one submission.
▪️ You’ll be asked to select a name for up to five awards. ▪️ For any category where you don’t feel anyone is a good fit, you can choose No suitable nominee for this award instead of selecting a person.
▪️ Once you hit submit, no changes can be made; so please check your selections carefully.
▪️ If a category is filled in, that nomination stands. Requests to fix “misclicks”, “wrong box”, or “I changed my mind” will not be accepted – that’s just the Universe helping you make a decision.
▪️ You may nominate the same person for more than one award if they genuinely fit.

About self-nominations

You may nominate yourself – we do want people to recognise their own contribution when it’s genuine.
If you nominate yourself: ▪️ You must complete the Why I’m nominating myself field with a clear, sensible explanation and examples.
▪️This field cannot be empty and must be between 40 and 250 words (roughly 3–10 sentences).
▪️Self-nominations without a proper explanation (full of fluff and no real examples) risk landing in the “nice try, hootin’ ego” pile rather than being taken forward. ▪️The managing directors and business manager will review these responses, and in serious cases any other nominations for you in this round may also be withdrawn.
